So it's been awhile since I last posted...me going back to work, the Holidays, little kids, etc. have kept me busy. But now the Holidays are over and I have had a few days off here and there and still no new post. My mom was asking me just this afternoon when I was going to update my blog to which my reply was soon...I just didn't have really anything to post. FAST FORWARD to about 30 minutes ago. I was online paying bills when I realized Taylor was no longer in the family room with Shelby and Hunter (those 2 really zone out when they are playing their DS's). Mason's door was shut, by me, because he was having a nap. Taylor's door was shut - so I went to check on her. It was very quiet...too quiet! I opened her door and was immediately greeted by the strong odor of permanent marker and a new art gallery of sorts. BLACK PERMANENT SHARPIE MARKER - all over EVERYTHING....the wall, the slide, her cute green bed, her cute ladybug comforter, new Christmas toys, the diaper box, and TAYLOR...her hands, her feet (tops, toenails, and bottoms), her legs (which I did not discover until I was taking off her black markered pants) and her face. She saw me, threw the marker at me and started to cry...Boy did she know she was in BIG trouble. I have to take part the blame on this one because I left out the marker in the first place. I know better - Tay Tay is my artist (my other kids have never colored on the walls or couches) she has colored on my red couch with a ball point pen (microfiber is awesome - it came right out with a wet cloth), colored on her window and window sill with a crayon and just the other night colored her bear with washable markers. I should know Better!!!! Mike tells me that the wall will have to be sanded and repainted because the marker will leave a shadow if you just try to paint over it. So if anyone knows any tricks to getting off BLACK PERMANENT SHARPIE MARKER, let me know. Oh Tay Tay...Heaven

Oh, Amanda...that is just too sad. Although you have to admit she is darling, even with all of the marker..too funny!! If you ever find out how to get it off the bed, let me know!! My little guy is an artist too!!!
I caught Garner just before he autographed the table, so it was just all over him and all my important papers.... but Mandy's little boy did a number on his whole room, crib, walls, everything!...including taking off his diaper and adding a few tatoo's to his undercarriage!! I'll call her and let you know cause I think she was able to get most of it out of the crib?? why is it always the BLACK PERMANENT SHARPIE that they decide to use???
What about Magic Eraser? I heard it does wonders. We used on our floors when Parker did the same thing, it came up with no problem.
Oh my goodness! Oh tay my girls did that except it was @ Grandma Brian's house. All over sheets, walls, sleeping bags, bodies. Anyway I think we got some of it out with the Magic Eraser. I'll call Waylons Mom and ask her to be sure.
