I have wanted a Hutch for a long time.
I found one on KSL for 100 bucks
It wasn't quite what I wanted so I
made a little project and customized
it to my liking.
This is what I did...
(i should have taken pictures, but i didn't think of it until after the fact)
1. removed all the glass and metal screening
2. removed all the hardware and patched the holes with bondo
3. sanded and roughed it up
4. went to Home Depot with my 2 little kids to
pick out paint and remembered why I don't
take the 2 little ones out by myself very often
4. painted it black
5. roughed up the edges
6. put the glass back in the doors
7. bought and installed new glass for the shelves
I'm still looking for hardware for for my doors
and I'm sure that I will probably
rearrange my dishes several times
before I am satisfied.
I think it turned out pretty good
for a novice like myself.
